My professional career spans over two decades and encompasses many roles in management, sales and customer service. Daily exchanges with customers, vendors, colleagues and business owners over the years has taught me to be a good listener, effective communicator, independent thinker and humble collaborator.
Gaining this experience primarily in the small to mid-sized business sector has proved to be invaluable and serves me very well in the social media arena. One cannot work on, or near the front lines and not learn tact and empathy. This diversity and my ability to adapt and grow with emerging trends, has made social media marketing and community management a natural progression for me.
My advanced involvement in the various social media platforms has revealed to me that this type of marketing is still an enigma for many individuals and small to mid-sized businesses.
